Unlock Your Business Potential with System Five Sidekick
0:24
Alright everybody, welcome to the System Five Sidekick demo.
0:27
We'll get started here in a moment while everyone gets logged in.
0:31
My name is Kyle of me getting started today.
0:34
And also be monitoring, so if you have questions as we go along, just put them in the chat there.
0:42
Presenting, the demonstration will be Shawn McAfee who has been a business developer here at Windward for over 14 years.
0:48
He's excited to show this thing off to you guys. Both clients and prospects will be here on the call today. So there's going to be some people that are currently using Windward Software and people that intend to use Windward on the call here.
1:02
All right, I think that's probably about enough stalling here. So, let's get started.
1:10
All right, what is System Five Sidekick?
1:13
Sidekick is a modern web app that lets you get more done.
1:17
It's compatible with System Five on Cloud and our classic on-prem version. It should work on any device anywhere and it uses, either WIFI at your store, or through cellular anywhere.
1:34
All Right then, who's Sidekick for?
1:38
It can be used by just about any Windward customer, anybody who manages inventory anyway.
1:43
It wasn't built to serve any specific industry because we feel these functions cover the majority of users.
1:48
We anticipate customers using this for line busting, checking item details from anywhere you can catch signal. (Think about customers with large yards or warehouses where Windward terminals are few and far between.)
2:01
You build an order about browsing the showroom with your customer.
2:06
And you check item availability or building quote from your customers jobsite.
2:12
You can also use this to check stock levels while you're at a trade show before committing to a purchase Our customers get pretty creative with how they use the software that we built. So, we're sure you'll find a use for it.
2:25
Shawn will be going deeper into this functionality during the demo, but right now, the main functions are Part Find and Order Builder. Part find is for inventory search.
2:35
You can look for part numbers, descriptions.
2:37
You're in stock position. If you have multiple locations, it shows the quantities per department.
2:42
Pricing and images will be there, too.
2:46
The order builder helps you build an order from anywhere.
2:49
You can print or send a quote from your mobile device.
2:52
You can send it to System Five for tendering.
2:54
You would just get an order number and give that to your customer and they can go to the cashier so that they can ring it up.
3:01
These functions account for about 80% of what people typically do in Windward every day. So this should really help you get mobile.
3:10
All right, let's, let's move on to the demonstration. Again, if you come up with any questions, just put them in the chat, and we'll try and get to them.
3:18
We'll try and get them answered during the Q and A session.
3:20
There's a lot of you here today, so whatever we can't answer will be handled after the show, via your account manager, or business developer.
3:27
Shawn can take it from here.
3:29
Hey, thanks, Kyle, I appreciate it. And you're right. I'm really excited today to show you when Windward Sidekick and go through this with you on the demonstration. This is a brand new platform for us to the rollout. I've done a few demonstrations on it so far.
3:46
So, if there are any kind of blips in the demo itself, I hope you all will bear with me a little bit and you know, understand that you know this is one of my first time showing it as well too.
3:59
So let me share my screen.
4:01
And what we're going to do today going through this is talk about a little bit about how responsive this is, so how this fits and works on phones and tablets and how that that kind of rolls out. Then we're gonna go through the part find and look up some inventory together and then after that, we'll build an order. Once that order has been built, I'll talk a bit about how you can communicate this order are quote to your customers and Where it goes after it's been submitted and how that effects with Windward as well, we'll finish the conversation today. Keep in mind this is Stage one of Windward Sidekick. So, today, we have Part Find An Order Order Builder. But who knows, our developers are crazy guys, down the road, you can see more coming on being built on this. So I'm really excited to share this with you today.
4:49
So let's start with how responsive this is. I'm obviously on a computer right now and for the demonstration you're gonna see that Sidekick is matching my screen size, But in order to kind of show you what it would look like on a phone, I can kind of mimic that update on my web browser.
5:04
So, if you were, for example, on a Surface Pro seven, Sidekick is going to scale, if you turn the tablet around, it's going to scale to that as well, too.
5:13
Or if you're on an i-phone, it'll change. So it really is responsive to device, that you're using to go look up orders and bring them in, and it is most definitely touchscreen capable as well. So right now today for our demonstration.
5:28
You see a mouse, that's what I'm using, but I can't actually use the touchscreen as we're looking things up. And typing things in, and it will respond with your phone keyboard, as well.
5:38
All right, so that's a bit about how it adapts and how responsive it is. Let's get into the kind of meat and potatoes of the product.
5:46
Sidekick is designed for you to quickly and easily be able to look up your inventory items, look at how many you have in stock, get descriptions and information about them with your clients on the fly.
5:58
Now, right now, we have a very simple part find.
6:02
You can type in a partial part number, hit Search, and look up your inventory that matches. And in this case, I do have some recliners.
6:10
So you can see the category, the product, the part number that you have, what your list price for the product is, how many you happen to have in stock at that time, and maybe, you know, the description itself. Now, once you have a search done, and maybe you have a few items here, you can click on the fields that are there, and you can limit your search. For example, maybe I only want to look up anything in Navy.
6:35
And the software will then adapt, and it will filter, buy what you're looking for.
6:46
We can then click on that item.
6:50
On the image, beside the end of the eyeball, by the item I should say.
6:53
And you can get some description, OK. Here's the category of the part number, we saw a bit of that in the search screen. But we can also see what your prices are. And if you have different price schedules, and in our demonstration today, this item only has one, $299, but you can see your list of different prices as it comes down below. So if you're talking to your clients and you're having a conversation, you can, you know, they're on Price Capital 3 or 4, or five. You can kind of talk to them about what their pricing for that item might be.
7:20
You can look at your quantity on hand, quickly and easily, OK, so we have here departments, if you are multi location with our software, you will be able to see what stock you have available in what store.
7:36
Then of course, if you want to see an image of the product and you have that loaded in the software, you will be able to find an image of the product there.
7:46
Now, our searching functionality can actually be a little bit more advanced. I just showed you a part number. one of the questions, I'm absolutely sure, I'll get later on is, hey, Shaun, can we scan a barcode with this, And the answer to that question is, yes. As long as you have the right device. So there are Android devices that have barcode scanners built into it.
8:05
You will not be able to use your phone camera. But if you do have a barcode scanner built into your phone, I believe it's a TC 21 would be one of the models.
8:13
Android device you could use Sidekick login, have this app, and scan it with that barcode scanner that's built into an Android device to bring up an item.
8:23
The other nice thing about Sidekick is it's not limited to Android or i-phone because this is a browser based solution.
8:29
You can use Android. You could use a when windows.
8:33
You can use Mac to be able to or, you know, i-phones to be able to actually scan information in and bring information up for barcodes. If you, if you have a device as barcode scanner or type in and look inventory up.
8:46
Now we also have an advanced search feature. So again, I've shown you the simple search. But you can search by barcode or item number.
8:54
You can also search by category of products. So all your categories from system five will come up. So if I want to click on furniture for example, I can look up all my recliners I may have in stock.
9:09
Now, I can browse.
9:14
Let's not limited it down to Navy.
9:15
Let's remove that, too, now from here, you can start building in order, OK, so you can click on an item with the plus or minus columns you see here, or if you actually click on a field, you can put in the number that you're looking for to add to it.
9:29
I'm just gonna click on two right now, and by doing that, you're gonna see my little cart up here is slowly updating with quantities.
9:43
We're gonna move and start the order builder fresh.
9:45
So let's go to the second feature of Windward Sidekick now, building an order, and again, that search bar that we talked about in part fine, is right there with the Order Builder. You still have the ability to do that, you can do an advanced search.
9:58
You can type in a partial part number, and your items will come up.
10:02
You can still filter by description.
10:06
And you can simply start adding some items into this quote.
10:13
Start building your order.
10:17
Now, at this point, Sidekick is not doing any credit card processing for you. It's literally just building up an estimate for your clients here on the fly.
10:25
And from here, where you take it, you can decide if you want to print that quote for the customer, from the software.
10:33
And you can download this, and e-mail it straight to the client.
10:36
If you do have that attached, I unfortunately don't, or, you can, If you have a printer attached to the attached to a Wi-Fi network, that you're, and you can print a copy of this out on the fly as well, too.
10:51
So e-mailing by phone, or printing out both are viable options with this.
11:14
All right, let's go back to our cart.
11:17
OK, so, print and send the quote, but you may decide at this point as well, that maybe you want to save this quote, or do something with it in system five. So, further from here, you can also take and submit your order.
11:29
And this will send the the built up cart that you have here, not straight into system five, but it will go kind of to a layer beforehand.
11:37
So you can save this now, for any of your customers, So you've built this up.
11:41
Maybe they didn't want to do anything with it today, maybe you want to save it for later, save it, then submitted. Now, this is not a finalized order. What, this is still a quote, it is not in system five.
11:53
But really, now you've built something up if quoted on it. Maybe printed a copy for a customer and you've submitted it to keep it in case customer decides to come back to you later.
12:02
And that's pretty much it for four. For Sidekick, really, it is supposed to be very simple to use.
12:08
Being able to look up inventory, be able to get pricing descriptions, and a ring in an order very quickly. Very good if you're working remotely. Very good if you're on the road.
12:17
Fantastic.
12:18
If you're looking at doing some line busting or if you're not by a computer terminal at any point, now transitioning in our demonstration from here, I'm going to move into what happens next. So we have built up this order.
12:29
Where did it go?
12:31
So now when you actually go into system five into our staging ground, into our area, system five, where we, we basically have orders coming in from different integrations now. It's e-commerce staging ground. And that's where Sidekick connects up to.
12:47
And if I refresh this, you'll see, I just have that $3000 order that we made today coming into the staging ground.
12:54
Again, this hasn't hit system five yet, so, there hasn't been any stock control.
12:59
You don't have any inventory removed. It's still kind of a in that kind of quotation zone. You’ve quoted it.
13:05
So, if a customer comes back and decides, OK, I wanna move forward with this.
13:09
To submit this in the Windward, all you have to do is look up the order number they had or match it with the pricing.
13:15
You can also take a look at the items that were on it if you need to match it that way, so you can see what it was that they rang up and what they looked at.
13:25
You click the ones you want to bring into Windward.
13:28
And then you import them.
13:32
It's that easy.
13:34
Now, once I've done this, this moves into Winward software as a work order or a sales order, meaning it, you have confirmed with the client that they want to go through with this.
13:45
So, now, Windward has taken this in, it has not completed the transaction, but what it has done is it starting to assign allocate stock to that order?
13:55
So, now what will happen on Sidekick on the e-commerce, on the on the front facing side, it's those quantities that I had are now being updated there being declined by 1 or 2 or by the amounts that I've brought in. And in Windward to flip it to a sale, all you have to do is click on Edit Sale.
14:12
I would recommend keeping the screen up.
14:15
I'm just going to hit Recent, but you can see right here we have a Sidekick Order, OK?
14:21
You double click it.
14:26
Review it.
14:27
If you want, you can change the customer on this. So, the customer name right now is Sidekick order by default, you can click on customer, and change that customer name to the person you want to go to.
14:38
But the easiest way to handle that, is just the flip it if it's for line busting to cash.
14:46
And then, take the money.
14:51
Now, obviously, there's a whole much other functions that you would use in Windward for you. If you're building up, for example, a large order that requires ordering product in and all that jazz. And, if it's going to be something that's shipped later and there's, there's other scenarios could play in System Five, but that's how Sidekick connects with our software.
15:09
You can look up the inventory, see the quantity, build up the order, bring it down.
15:15
If it goes forward from that quotation standpoint, you can then have an import into Windward where stock control takes over and you can finalize the transaction.
15:23
It's that simple to use.
15:26
And that's pretty much it for the demonstration. There's really not much else to show, but I'd be quite happy to go over any questions you might have and and kinda review with you any questions you have on the solution today. Here, Kyle I’ll change you back to the presenter.
15:47
Alright, thanks Shawn.
15:48
We did get a number of questions in here, but before that I'm going to go over some dependencies, real quick System Five requirements.
15:56
Maybe you need System Five Version 7 in order to use Sidekick.
16:03
This is what if you're, if you're not yet a customer, this is what you'll get installed when you when you first sign up.
16:09
If you are a System Five on Cloud subscriber, you are ready. You can get Sidekick anytime.
16:14
If you are a classic System Five on prem client, you may need to upgrade your database to Actian Zen 15 to get version seven, and then use Sidekick.
16:24
As far as devices are concerned, any modern phone or tablet can be used regardless of manufacturer.
16:30
For desktop Chrome, Safari Edge and Firefox browsers are acceptable.
16:37
You need a cellular or Wi-Fi connection to use Sidekick if your signal drops.
16:42
You won't lose your place. You just continue where you left off when you get a signal again.
16:46
So, if you're on cellular and then, that drops you connect to Wi-Fi. It'll just remember where you were at.
16:53
If you're a local System Five environment, it's offline.
16:56
Your Sidekick will just use the previously sync data.
17:00
So, this could be part of a business continuity plan or any other way that you can, you know, think about using this.
17:09
Uh, barcode scanning is available. I think, I think, Shawn mentioned that earlier. If you have like a Zebra TC-21 already and you're using maybe the Windward Scan App with the TC-21, You can also use that same device for Sidekick.
17:26
All right.
17:28
There are a number of questions, so let's Let's keep going, on these.
17:34
Let's fire away.
17:36
All right.
17:38
Will we be able to change the inventory amount? Say the item says 40 in stock, but We only have 39. Can we change this on the fly?
17:48
I can't.
17:49
It's good question. You can adjust the inventory quantities you have there, So when Windward Sidekick’s, inventory is coming from System Five. Now, you can add inventory to an order and then submit it, but you're not going to be able to do stock adjustments or corrections from this today.
18:05
That could be something where they go down the road. I have no idea, but today you would still have to go into System Five if you only had 39 in stock. And adjusted. Now Sidekick does look at those adjustments, so if you did make a correction in Windward, then it is going to update and Sidekick at one of our regular push timing of intervals. So when it does sync again, it's gonna look at that corrected amount and update all the Sidekick devices to the proper inventory now. But the correction does need to be made in System Five.
18:34
That's a good question.
18:36
Also, there's a reason for it to0, right? So, we wanted Sidekick to be something that, you know, your basic user can use, and not mess up your inventory. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. It's meant to be easy to use coming out the gate and it's meant to be something that is simple and, you know, there may be more that we do for it down the road, but we also have other applications like our Scan App and a few other things. We can talk about offline in a different conversation, but for Sidekick, you're really looking at being able to look up your inventory and create an order very quickly and easily.
19:09
and get submitted to Windward and then have that on hand and then get an order built.
19:15
Yep. All right, the next question and I'll handle this one Shawn is if we have a category that has many thousands of items in it with pictures, will that search quickly or as quickly as shown in the webinar? And that was it was a very good question. This doesn't talk directly to your Windward database in real time.
19:34
It syncs to a different platform that's gonna run very quickly compared to your Windward database. That's because it's cutting out all the extra pieces. It's literally just your inventory, the images and the descriptions and the prices. Instead of all the other complicated things that Windward does.
19:55
So this is actually taking it syncs to a server every five minutes for certain things about every hour or other certain things and it's just going to pull from that instead of going all the way back to your Windward database. So, that is a very good question and the answer to that is it's going to be quick.
20:17
Question one.
20:18
Yeah, next one is, are the fields customizable in the search, display, cost, et cetera?
20:24
Right now, what displays is what it displays. Do you want to take that back and show it again, Sean? Yeah, I can absolutely bring that back up.
20:34
Give me the presentation, I'll jump into it.
20:37
There you go and I can, I really want to state, you know, when we do something like this, it's about making it as simple as possible. And the program comes out. It will, change has happened to this to Sidekick, absolutely. Are we looking at working more on this platform? Absolutely. But, for today, what you see is pretty much what you have.
20:57
So, if I do a search, for example, for an item number, just hitting R, the thing that you can change on, this is the amount of items that display on the screen.
21:06
But that's about it. What the columns you see are the columns you get, and then the detail you have, you would click on the inventory item and get more of that detail from there, like supplier, and et cetera.
21:17
You do see pricing, but cost is not part of this search? I don't believe. Let me double check.
21:26
I don't see cost part of the search today. I'm just double checking that now.
21:31
Yeah, So, definitely not part of the search today. But, knowing this, yeah, we're selling this currently in its current form, right? We, you're not going to have to have anything to install since this is a web app. So as we make changes, you'll just get the changes, There's nothing to get an appointment to re-install or any of that stuff. It's just going to work.
21:54
Exactly.
21:55
All right, next question Can customer information be captured with Sidekick? It will use a default.
22:03
Yeah, it's it's as today you're not finished.
22:09
Sorry, Kyle here at jump in there.
22:11
It will use today a default customer when it comes down.
22:15
Capturing customer information when you do this. Today Sidekick gets built in the order, once the order goes into System Five, then you're matching any customer from system five at that point, it literally is building the order, submitted the order.
22:28
So you just reference it, basically through the order number, if your at cash, right, if you're at the cash register, the routine could be, alright,
22:42
your order number was what if they didn't remember their order number, you can say, they can preview what are in those orders and say, Well, did you get a kitchen aid?
22:52
Or did you get a recliner, right?
22:55
So at least there's an additional layer there where they can verify that they're taking the right payments.
23:05
If you're a hand handheld printer as well. Kyle, technically, if you did have a printer nearby you, when you're doing the line busting, you can print a copy the quote and then submit the order so the customer can have something in their hand with the with the information.
23:18
That would definitely eliminate some confusion there as well. The next question was, how do you take payment? You take payments in System Five?
23:25
I think that question may have been asked before we showed that, so that's good.
23:29
OK, can you set it to import into System Five as an estimate?
23:35
Um, that is, in the setup area. You can, you can select which invoice type and invoice subtype.
23:45
Shawn, if you go over to that apps in the E com staging area, maybe we got there.
23:53
Yeah, I'll bring that up right now. So this all comes in, as Kyle mentioned earlier on, in one of those questions about that layer, that we come in as as a second layer that we come into the software. And that's this E-Commerce Staging ground that I was on for a brief point of our demonstration. And here is where you would set that information up, whether it comes in as a, I won't go through all the settings that we have today. But there are sync settings. There are importing settings all that jazz is here.
24:16
And part of that will also be what this comes in as.
24:23
Yeah, All right. The next question was, can you build multiple orders for different customers at a time? That is exactly what we were just showing there. Do you have to have an become integration? That is our, it's using our e-comm integration software, so it is, using that part of our software. That does not mean that you have to have an ecommerce cart.
24:47
Does this require pervasive license? That is a question that I don't know. So we'll get your account manager to reach back out to you.
24:59
Can you change the customer during the quote? We already answered that.
25:09
OK, as you're looking at the questions, I've got to say, I'm really excited about this application. I know there's a lot of questions about can you add this hear or can you do this with the application? And out of the gate as we developed that, it was meant to be very simple and easy to use something so anyone can use from their phone or from a tablet. To quickly look up and quickly submit an order back to Windward but this is not something that is just going to be left aside. We are looking at doing more with this application. And I'm very excited, like Kyle said, to seeing. What our developers rollout and add as time goes on to this platform.
25:42
Yeah, and all these questions are very good, because this is giving them a whole bunch of things to work on. Basically, next. Question was how Secure Sidekick. That was. Very good question. I'm glad that it was asked. This will have its own set of credentials. At the moment it's tied to the academy.
26:00
So, we will have in the onboarding process, you'll have you'll assign which academy users will be able to use when Windward System Five Sidekick.
26:15
Next time, you have something to bring up there as well to just as a reference point. You also have to remember at this point Sidekick doesn't have any credit card or information for customers on it, it's still a System Five. So if you are looking at, you know, concerns about credit card information and how secure it is in that way that's not being stored in Sidekick at all that's still remains a System Five. Sidekick is just capturing your inventory, cost, and the images of that, building orders and submitting it through, so very little detail is currently available even on Sidekick that could be used against you.
26:51
OK, When multiple users are submitting orders, is there any other way to identify them in System Five other than Sidekick order? It will be Sidekick Order and it will have an identifying order number like we showed.
27:02
Yes, take a look at that again, just to bring that up. And there was a lot to take in in a short period.
27:06
So, once it's been submitted to Windward, it comes up Sidekick order as a customer. And it has that subtype now right now, You're seeing a work order subtype of W So instead of E so it's not an estimate right now. It goes straight in as a work order.
27:21
But then it has that subtype as well. In this case, it would be a sub touching Sidekick, in this case, is WD as a subtype for it.
27:31
Yep.
27:38
Is the e-commerce import tool that we saw part of the integration. It is part of this integration and it's also part of Windward Software itself.
27:51
So that Winward e-commerce integration piece right there is something that exists in your Windward, but it's probably turned off if you've never seen it. It is something that we switch on for the use of this integration.
28:06
Yeah, so the thing, you know, part of development that, a lot of people who are end-using a product, I think both of us have seen this before, is, sometimes there's a lot of work that has to be done by developers behind the scenes to make things work. So our Windward e-commerce Integration platform has been built and being worked on for a couple of years now. We've had it for awhile, it's been worked on, Improved, worked on improved. And so when you purchase Sidekick this is just part of the purchase, this gets turned on, like Kyle said. And now you have this accessible and tied into your Sidekick for loading this in. So this is part of the Sidekick package, but this framework is something that we built behind the scenes. So we can make utilities like Sidekick, actually work for customers.
28:48
OK.
28:49
Does search show items that are not in stock? Yes. It Does. That allows you to be able to quote on the fly?
28:58
It is not looking at your in-stock. It's it is looking at your in-stock but it's not taking away from your inventory level until it is imported.
29:09
So If you do have something that has a zero when you Import it your normal stock control will take over. So, if you ordered something that has zero it will ask you. Do you want a special order this or whatever settings that you have in System Five?
29:25
So remember submit away your people can be in the field They can be quoting hitting some in order as much as they like and building it and it doesn't go directly into Windward. It stops at the staging ground So it's not gonna affect stock inventory until it comes up here. And you decide to import that in the Windward and you can multi select an import. So. And Windward as you sell items and inventory, it's going to update your quantities that are available.
29:47
So, by all means, if you see something, it has zero on it, you can submit that and save that quote. There's nothing wrong with it. If you absolutely want to be able to quote your customers on things you can order in, even if you don't have it in stock.
29:58
Yeah.
29:59
Very good.
30:01
The next one was, if I'm at a show buying, am I able to see all my inventory remotely?
30:08
That is one of the use cases. Absolutely, Absolutely. You're at a trade show and you want to know somebody's trying to pressure you into buying something. Then you already have way too much of it. You can look up how much you have.
30:20
It's a great little use case there, absolutely.
30:27
Yeah, so when creating an order for a customer that has a price schedule in place of the order, you create and Sidekick populate with List Price. Or can you choose a price scheduled to appear on the order? So, great question. There is a specific list price in the settings that you would set for sidekick.
30:43
But if you have a customer that you match inside of System five, it can reprice it for you if you choose to do so.
30:53
Absolutely. And that's a case eat Kyle's, absolutely. Right. It'll show you the price levels that are here. You will build the order up, and then when you submitted in the System Five and changed the customer over, it will reprice for that customers level. So again, System Five is still doing the heavy lifting on that piece. But you can also see the pricing for the customer, at least on this end of things.
31:21
OK, it's somebody, did, just ask if this is an app for your our customer's customer, or if it's for our customer.
31:31
So it is absolutely not meant for your retail customers to use this. It is meant for your employees to use this, to make their jobs easier.
31:44
If you're looking for something for your customers to access, you're looking more for some type of e-commerce platform, Which we do have some solutions for it that we could talk about offline with your account manager. And with your BD, as well this, like Kyle said, it's, this is a sales tool to help you look up your inventory know what's available and help you build quotes on the fly, it's really to help bring the power of building orders to your cell phone, whether it be in the office or whether you be out in the field somewhere.
32:13
Yeah, so next question one is how to Sidekick work with on-premise version from a remote location.
32:20
This is, again, your on-premise version of System Five will upload your inventory to a middleware, right?
32:33
That will be used to grab your inventory wherever you are.
32:39
So you don't have to be on your premise, you can be at your customers, jobsite, you could be at a trade show, you could be wherever, like in the middle of the warehouse that doesn't, you know, necessarily have a computer, right?
32:53
This e-commerce integration piece will take that inventory that you have locally installed, locally, installed, and push it up to Sidekick, and update it that way. That's exactly what Kyle saying you, if you're an on prem customer, that's part of what this staging ground does is, It connects Sidekick to your actual database, and pushes your information up, and pulls your orders down, as you see as you as you need.
33:16
All right, next question. Does the work order show up on the backorder report?
33:21
Get once you, once you've imported it, normal System Five does normal System Five things.
33:27
Normal System Five things. Absolutely.
33:34
All right, Does it use in stock quantity or available quantity?
33:40
That's a good question. And, you know, it's one question here. So, remember, we also haven't, we're getting used to Sidekick. I've done a few demonstrations with it already. Got a couple of videos. I'm actually not sure which one it uses. I'm assuming it uses available, but Kyle, we positive on that one.
33:55
I do not know, but I'll get the devs involved and ask them that question. And we'll get back to you.
34:01
It's a great question.
34:02
It is an awesome question.
34:04
Where are the images of the product?
34:07
Know, Kyle, we were saying before, maybe not necessarily showing all the inventory record, but did you want me to show the e-commerce tab just quickly? Because I got a couple questions about gets pushed off, OK. So, in System Five, and we're not going to go through an inventory record like crazy, we're just going to show you one very specific area. But you would load the images into System Five.
34:26
I'm just gonna look up on the recliners here that we have. Yeah, I think the blue one has an image on there.
34:31
I think, so, yeah, yeah, let me fight right, this one here, OK, there is going to be a tab now on, in your inventory record, there will be a tab, OK, as we go down through the bottom here.
34:44
Web, this tab will have some descriptions on the item. This is met. This Web tab is utilized for some of our e-commerce integrations, as well as Sidekick, but the picture, which is not on this one, unfortunately. Right here, who grabbed the yellow one, the yellow one has it
35:00
yellow, Whereas, it, sorry, we didn't really remember where we had in this dataset, and we have a lot in the dataset, the off white did. Let’s try the off-white, maybe, OK.
35:16
Alright, go down to it. So on the Web tab, you're gonna see that there's a photo listed here. Some description, somebody information going up. And then there's a little button here because there was a question asked earlier about inventory items going up, Now you can have all of your inventory items go up to Sidekick. That's not a problem. It's not going to slow things down. But if you want to be selective about what goes up the Sidekick, this little tick box here.
35:38
If I decide this doesn't go to Sidekick, I just un-click it.
35:41
And so here's where the image is stored, and here is where you actually decide if you want them to go up or not.
35:53
OK, We've got a couple of repeat questions here, so I'm sorry, I'm just kind of filtering through these. So, how often does Sidekick update? So, if we need to make a change, the Sidekick we just push it out to you, you don't need to action, anything there.
36:07
Um, there's different time dinner rolls for different functionality, so for example, orders come down very quickly when you hit, when you hit that staging ground. And then, there's timed intervals for updating quantity. I think quantity gets updated a lot sooner than other things. And then if you create a brand new part and when we're, for example, that that will go in a timed intervals as well too. So there's time cycles for how fast. A Sidekick does get updated. And I don't know, all the timing, because it's a little bit different for the different components that updates, so quantity, for example, updates faster than if I create a new part, and it going up there.
36:40
Yep. I misunderstood that question, but you've picked up on that.
36:43
Yeah, all right.
36:46
Do all users have access to the Import option, or do you need special permissions? Yes, we would.
36:52
We would have these, there would be, there'll be a user associated with both the application, the web application, and the integration here, so that we can prevent people from importing options, you know, a bunch of orders accidentally, right?
37:12
So, it would be limited to your cashier or your management staff to be able to import these orders so that the, you don't get somebody randomly pull in orders and deleting them and doing all sorts of havoc on you, right?
37:25
Um, next question was about payments. Again.
37:30
We, this is not payment aware.
37:34
It is only used to create, and then you send to cash or sent to System Five to be able to take that payment.
37:42
So, we're not, we're not going to be taking payments on your phone or anything like that. It creates all kinds of other problems for, for compliance, right?
37:55
Exactly. So, if you're looking at doing credit card processing, all over the internet like this, You're looking at adding a layer of complexity to it. Now, I'm not. I don't, as a salesperson. You don't like to promise things that aren't gonna come down the road, but I do want to remind people, this is version one.
38:09
This is the first release version of this platform.
38:11
And as it today, taking payments, we let System Five do that work. We submit the order, we take the payment through System Five. That's that's really how it's meant to work. So, you can look at this as a quotation tool, a tool to be able to look up your inventory and your pricing. But if it's going to turn into a sale, you're submitting it to Windward and then processing the sale there.
38:30
But, again, this is version one.
38:33
And I hope to see version 2 and 3 and 25 down the road
38:39
All right, what does the login process look like for the web browser? It is basically just a username and a password. There's not much. You know, it's not much different than any other e-commerce type, A password. It does stick with your browser. So if you're a frequent user, you don't have to go in and remember that password all the time, but if you do clear cookies, you'll have to log in again.
39:05
Yeah, Next thing is the E-commerce good, is it?
39:16
Salesforce, OK.
39:17
So does the Salesforce need to write down the order number and send it to the office to attach to the correct customer?
39:23
It really depends upon your internal workflows, right. So we have customers that do lots of different things.
39:30
So some people are in our high high amount of transactions where they have cashiers that stand there all day.
39:37
And we have other customers that have like one person that does the billing once a day. So, it's really with Sidekick,
39:46
You're probably going to make a few adjustments to your internal processes but yes, there you know that the way that you handle that internally may vary based on your business type absolutely.
40:01
OK, the lowest version what is the lowest version of Windward that is supported? So anybody on Windward System Five Version 7 so that is our newest version of Windward System Five So 7.0 on up
40:18
Again, not to get too off topic on the webinar, but when we're System Five Version 7, it's a big leap for us.
40:23
There's been a lot of work and a lot of groundwork done in the back end to make technologies such as this available. So when we talk about upgrading to version seven, there, there really is a good reason behind that. And that's because we've done a lot of work in development to upgrade our software to be able to create features and technology.
40:41
Like you're seeing on this demonstration today, Windward Sidekick, for all the clients, all the people that are out here right now, that are, that are baby prospects. That are looking at when we're for the first time. Just as a side note, when work does update its software regularly. So, we're never just static and and an unsupported. We're always working on improving it and proving the backend, and improving the foundation of our product.
41:06
So, we can provide features like this, OK, this question says, Keep coming in. All right. Is there an app for this, or the access through your web browser only. There is not an app for this, There's not anything that you need to keep up to date.
41:20
So, this is built using, um, just, you'll be given a URL, like this one that's on the top of his browser, right there, to be able to use it, and your username, and your password will, attached to the correct dataset.
41:39
Part of the reason why we don't do an app is keeping that up to date, and it's also extremely limited using a browser based like this. You don't have to worry about, are you on an i-phone? Or are you on an Android? You don't have to worry about, am I sitting on a computer laptop at the moment? It will work in either any of those type of scenarios.
41:54
And it is adjustable so, you know, at the end the day, being on this Web Browser version of Sidekick, it's still gonna map to your screen and changes sizing based on the device that you're using.
42:05
All the things that you would expect from an applicant, an actual app, yeah, just, very easy way for us to keep it.
42:14
Current is the fact that we can make the changes without you having to update an app.
42:20
It just makes it nice and easy.
42:22
And then all of the web browser developers out there, those are the ones that are there making all the keeping, all the security up to date and all that kind of stuff. So it's, it's really a nice way for us to handle it.
42:36
It's low impact. If we make a change, it automatically rolls out to you. So, yeah.
42:43
This is, this is a big step for us.
42:45
We've got a number of questions about pricing, the pricing we're going to leave up to your account manager, and you're building your business developer, OK? So that is something that we're not prepared to handle during this webinar, as well. So there's a few questions that need to be asked before we're able to give an accurate quote. Part of that is, how many users you're looking out for Sidekick, and whether you're an existing client or client coming on board. Typically, when we're doing an overview like this, we just want to let you know what the functionality is, how it works, and how can benefit your business. So, that's what we're here for today.
43:17
OK, we've reached the end of the list here.
43:22
OK, somebody actually gave us some kudos on it, being a great webinars, so thank you, thank you very much. Thank you all for your time and attention. As I said before, as Kyle said, I'm really excited to show you today. I know Kyle was excited about this, this webinar, as well, and if you're looking for any more, any additional information, please give your account manager call or your business developer. And we can arrange something to kind of go over some questions you may have and get some answers.
43:54
Right, I think this is about it. Let's go ahead and end it here. Any questions, we're gonna. I know we probably missed a few. So, I'm gonna download all of the questions, and we'll make sure that we get back to you on anything that we did not answer appropriately.
44:11
Um, thank you so much for, for being here today, everybody.
44:16
Take care, everyone.
